Check it out to see MLG teams and pros fight it out in 4 vs. 4 Team Matches and Deathmatch tournaments and compete for a total cash prize purse of $30,000.

Rockstar Games has invited sixteen of the world's most elite video-game players to go all out in some matches of Max Payne 3's multiplayer modes. All of this will be happening on prior to the release of Max Payne 3 (only 9 days to go for U.S. residents) and will be televised online. The exhibition event will be part of the Major League Gaming league.

Pretty excited about that, actually the fact that the worlds most gamers come together for playing Max Payne 3 sounds pretty amazing. And on top of all that ... the whole, or maybe just parts of the event will be televised online right before the game launches. Awesome, hopefully you get a way picture then what the multiplayer looks like, I'm really interested in the customization stuff so I hope that this will be featured in the televised version, coming soon to the Rockstar Newswire. I'll keep myself updated by keeping a close eye on Rockstars twitter account, where they announced to keep us up-to-date with the event and will also proved some glimpses of it, whether in form of pictures or short videos, teaser videos, I don't know. Just 9 days to go for the first official launch, starting with the States. The MLG members must be proud to have the chance to play Max Payne 3 multiplayer for all that time now. Should be great and exciting times.

The event will air at 8 P.M Eastern time. This wasn't mentioned but the total prize to win is 30 thousand dollars. That's a buckload of cash.

In case the event is already over, the recap video airs next Monday, May 14th.

A recap video will air next Monday, the event was held the last weekend, so from May 5th - May 6th. THE EVENT IS OVER! It's just a recap we are going to see next Monday. Hope it's clear now.
