Gamespot has released a video showing the history behind the Max Payne games and even talks about the movie a bit. It was well worth the watch, and Gamespot tackled really everything you need to know about the story and how it evolved in the video. You can watch it below.

What did you think of the video? Did it bring up any old memories? Let us know in the forums!

I really liked this video, very detailed. Love the funny comments about the movie though. yeah, I was disappointed about the movie, who wasn't? n yes, i remember when the first one came out. I was expecting the Matrix game to come out, but it never did. But when Max Payne came out, I was speechless n awe struck!! then Max Payne 2 came out, n then the matrix finally released their game "Enter The Matrix" I didn't like it as much. I enjoyed Max Payne 1 n 2 much more. I really am looking forward to Max Payne 3 a lot! I hope the campaign is as tough n exciting as the first two, n that they don't disappoint. Love the multiplayer idea, but I am more of an old school guy. I rather have a great and enjoyable campaign over multiplayer.

I can assure you that the multiplayer feature in the game does not take away from the amazing single player aspect of the game.

Ye, I think so too. Max Payne is first single player and then multiplayer. But of course it can compete with all the fun the multiplayer modes do promise to have to offer. My fingers are crossed for the entire package of course ... Just 16 more days to go through!
