Rockstar has just released some new info on an army we will see in Max Payne 3: The Crachá Preto. According to the documents released on Max Payne 3's website, the army claims to be a defense force, but there is a more corrupt side to them. This includes blackmail, extortion, and drug trafficking.

This seems to resemble the units in the office level showed on the trailer, and is anyone else confused as to why he's not holding the trigger?

Not refused at all. I think he just walks around, looking for Max and Passos :) He will hold the trigger if the time comes ... the time for some bullet-time action with Max. Anyways that's a great file of which I could get a little bit more background info which I think will be helpful or at least will add something if you play through the singleplayer campaign. Looking foward to it.

Actually this makes me think, can you suprise attack enemies? And does it stun them and take longer for them to react? It seems like something rockstar would implement as jumping through windows would be pointless if you were just shot in the face as you touch the ground.

Perhaps, there seems to be some of that in the GTA games, and in the older Max Payne games the enemies would always shout "What the hell?" then start attacking.

Well, since there seems to be a silenced pistol in the game, I can't see why that is a no. And on one gameplay trailer, You can see Max hiding in a bus, waiting for the right time to attack his enemies. If they can flank us, I don't see any reasons why we shoudln't be able to do that.

I like those character dossiers. They contain so much information on all the types of enemies, the characters et cetera, R* should really stick on them. At least they help me the most to get to know what the characters are about.

Can't wait 'till we got a dossier about Passos, he seems to be a very interesting character.

Yeah, I think he is the key person of Max Payne 3. The story may pick up the relationship between Max and Passos or maybe one of the upcoming comics will do. At least I'm excited to learn more about Passos. I think he was a NYPD cop too in the early years, was he? otherwise I'm interested to know how he got in contact with Max.

I've read that Passos is Max's friend from the Police Academy, so yeah, they met in the force.
